North Interceptor Wastewater Imp
Description:
The North Interceptor Wastewater Improvements Project – City of Waco involved the installation and upgrade of large-diameter sanitary sewer infrastructure to increase system capacity and reliability. The work included installing 30-inch and 36-inch sanitary sewer mains using both open-cut trenching and directional boring with steel casing, as well as constructing 6-foot and 8-foot diameter manholes.
Additional scope included controlled abandonment of existing sewer lines, temporary sanitary flow bypass systems, trench safety measures, traffic control, environmental protection, and surface restoration of affected areas. These improvements enhanced the city’s wastewater network, providing long-term performance and operational reliability.
