This project involved the relocation and modernization of Steamboat Mountain WSC's potable water distribution system as part of the U.S. Highway 83/84 improvements in coordination with TxDOT. The primary objective was to maintain reliable water service while relocating existing infrastructure to accommodate the highway construction.

The work included the replacement and installation of approximately 24,500 linear feet of water mains ranging from 14-inch to 2-inch diameters, together with all associated valves, fittings, service connections, and appurtenances required to integrate the new system into the existing distribution network.
