Description:
The Summit Rock 16-Inch Waterline Connection to Elevated Storage Tank Project involved the installation of a large-diameter potable water main to connect the existing distribution system to an elevated storage tank, improving system pressure and reliability.
The scope included the installation of 16-inch ductile iron pipe, gate valves, special fittings with thrust blocking, fire hydrants, and a live wet tie-in connection to the existing water system. Additional work included trench excavation and safety, erosion control, and the installation of electrical and communication conduits, along with related equipment and concrete pads.
This project enhanced the water distribution infrastructure, ensuring reliable service and long-term system performance.
