The Downtown Rockdale Water Line Replacement Project (FM 908 – Milam to Bell) involved the rehabilitation and modernization of existing potable water infrastructure to improve system reliability and service delivery. The scope included the installation of new 16-inch PVC C-905 water mains, restrained joint pipe sections, 24-inch casing pipe, and short and long service reconnections along the urban corridor.
The project also included steel-cased dry auger boring crossings, installation of gate valves, fire hydrant assemblies, water line testing and disinfection, and full restoration of concrete pavement, curbs, and striping, delivering a fully upgraded water system within a high-traffic downtown area.
