The OVN Groundwater Relief Project – City of Seguin involved the construction and improvement of groundwater and drainage infrastructure in the Twin Oak and Spanish Oak areas to mitigate water accumulation and improve ground stability. The scope included channel construction, installation of groundwater interceptor drains and french drains, perforated pipe systems, HDPE piping, precast grate inlets, and concrete safety end treatments.
Additional work included excavation and grading, concrete riprap installation, driveway construction and rehabilitation, ribbon curb installation, density testing, traffic control, erosion and sediment control (SWP3), and hydro-mulching and sod placement, resulting in a comprehensive and effective groundwater relief system.
