The TXDOT Water Line Relocate Project – Richland SUD involved the relocation and upgrade of potable water infrastructure to accommodate roadway improvements coordinated with the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT). The scope included the installation of new HDPE water lines of various diameters, gate valves, flush valves, and fittings, and the reconnection of existing water services to maintain uninterrupted service.
Additional work included trenchless boring with HDPE casing for utility crossings, cut and plug of existing water lines, installation of detectable tape and tracer wire, and restoration of disturbed areas, resulting in a reliable and fully integrated water system aligned with the new roadway configuration.
