The Union Street Water and Sewer Improvements Project involved the complete rehabilitation of underground potable water and sanitary sewer infrastructure to improve system reliability and performance. The scope included the installation of an 8-inch PVC C900 water main, fire hydrants, gate valves, water services, and live tie-ins to the existing system.
Sanitary improvements included the installation of 8-inch sewer mains, manholes, sewer laterals, cleanouts, and CCTV inspection of the sewer system, along with pressure testing and trench compaction testing. Additional work included excavation safety, erosion control, backfilling and surface restoration, flexible base installation, and pavement repairs, resulting in a fully upgraded and reliable utility corridor.
