Water Line Replacements
Description:
The City of Big Spring Water Line Replacement Project involved the comprehensive rehabilitation and modernization of the potable water distribution system across multiple urban corridors to improve capacity, reliability, and operational performance. The scope included the installation of 20-inch, 10-inch, and 6-inch PVC water mains, installation of gate valves and butterfly valves, fire hydrant assemblies, and reconnection of existing water services.
Additional work included cut and cap of existing lines, installation of detectable warning tape, cased crossings, and full surface restoration, including extensive pavement repairs, delivering a fully upgraded and reliable water distribution system.
